The explanation below is for reference only.
Please do double check with the dept. office, R&D office, and NSC for the most updated and correct information.
According to NSC's standard, during the conference trip, the NSC supports teachers with flight tickets, registration fees and living expense.
Living expense includes accommodation and food.
You need to first look at the excel file attached to check how much you can apply for the living expense.
For example, if I am going to Tokyo during April 1-8, the living expense I can apply will be NTD 70,910.
April 1 USD 316* 33(exchange rate)*0.4 (day)+ April 2-7 USD316*33*6(days)+ April 8 USD 316*33*0.4(day)= NTD 70,910
The first and the last are counted as 0.4 days because usually you won't have expense on hotel.
If you do check in the hotel on the first day you arrive, you can count the first day as 1 day.
For school's R&D, there is no maximum either.
You just apply (living expense+ flight tickets +registration fees) and see how much the school will grant you.
According to my experience, the school will first look how much you can get from NSC and cover the rest.
Please be careful about the deadline.
For NSC's, you need to finish the online application 6 weeks prior to the trip.
For R&D's is 20 days prior to the trip.
