Based on Article 3 of the "Fu Jen Catholic University Regulations for New Faculty Members," new full-time faculty are initially appointed for a term of two years, with each year requiring a successful evaluation by their department's (or institute's) faculty Evaluation committee. For those under a two-tiered review system, approval from the college-level committee is also required. After successfully completing two consecutive years of service, subsequent contracts may be for a two-year term.
