I. According to the provisions of the Copyright Act, the author has the exclusive right to reproduce and publicly transmit his or her work. Scanning, photocopying, downloading or uploading other people's works, involving the reproduction, public transmission and other use of the work, except in accordance with Article 1 of the Copyright Act. Except for the fair use situations stipulated in Articles 44 to 65, if you want to use other people's works, you must obtain the consent or authorization of the copyright owner to comply with the provisions of the Copyright Act.
II. Students in colleges and universities scan and photocopy domestic and foreign books, such as the whole book or a large part of it, or break it into parts, or arbitrarily download and upload other people's papers, etc. Such use behavior exceeds the limit. The scope of fair use will constitute copyright infringement. If the copyright owner is prosecuted according to law, he may have to bear criminal and civil legal liabilities. In order to strengthen the promotion of students' respect for intellectual property rights, the Intellectual Property Office, the Ministry of Economic Affairs reminds students to use genuine textbooks (including second-hand books) and not to download, upload or photocopy other people's works to avoid violating the law.
