Since the World Health Organization (WHO) announced a global pandemic of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on March 11th, 2020, how has English and Literature education been transformed and evolved?
 
The 39th International Conference on Language Teaching and Learning will be held from July 15 to July 16, 2022, at Fu-Jen Catholic University, New Taipei City, Taiwan. 
 
This conference aims to encourage boundary crossing dialogues among English and Literature educators, exploring challenges and possibilities for teaching and learning. We invite researchers and practitioners to share innovations in English and Literature Education, particularly in relation to technology, research methodology, curriculum design, and global communication. The fluidity of inter-disciplinary borders has increased, as we seek answers to questions we may have never envisaged or explored before.


For The 39th International Conference on Language Teaching and Learning, topics may include, but are not limited to, the following:

The conference invites abstracts of no more than 300 words in English for double-blind peer-reviews. 摘要字數請勿超過 300 字,摘要撰寫語言為英文。
 

Type of Presentation: Individual papers
1. Local presenters: On-site presentation
2. International presenters: On-line presentation
(1) Live presentation (via a program provided by the conference) or
(2) Pre-recorded video
 
*During this time the presenter(s) should still connect via the program and stay online to  follow the broadcasting. Once the presentation is over, the audiences will have the opportunity to ask their questions to the presenter.
 
Important Dates
Abstract submission deadline: January 31 extended to February 14, 2022
Announcement of abstract acceptance: March 31, 2022
Online registration: April 1-June 30, 2022
*Presenters must register by April 30 to be included in the final conference program.
Onsite registration: July 15-16, 2022 
Conference dates: July 15-16, 2022
 
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Please read the submission rules before submitting an abstract.
◆ The conference language is English. 
◆  The conference invites abstracts of no more than 300 words in English for double-blind peer-reviews.
◆ Abstracts must be submitted via the conference website.
◆ Please prepare the following information and your abstract in English. Abstract submitted in other languages will not be accepted.
◆ The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
◆Please do not contain any information that can be used to identify the author(s).
◆ All abstracts will be published on the Conference website prior to the conference.

◆ Format:
1). Title of the paper
2). A 50-word short abstract (for publication in the conference program)
3). A 300-word extended abstract (for blind peer review)
4). 3-5 keywords
