學生Q&A
1. Are we going to have insurance and payment?
a. Payment: different companies handle this differently. As interns, you should not expect payment, or compare yours with those your fellow students get.
b. Insurance: Again, different companies handle this differently. As the department has just started this project, we will cover the safety insurance (安全保險) of the department-arranged internships if they do not include it. However, it will be only this year. Later on, students need to decide if they want to take an internship which does not cover insurance.
2. What should we write on the journals?
Internship Journal 1 -- And Response --Due the End of the 10th week
1. Please introduce your company, its products/services and its structure.
2. What is the nature of your work? What knowledge and skills you learned at school are used at work?
3. Give an account of one-day experience at work. (Good day, bad day...)

2. How do you find out about them? How do you or your supervisors interpret them?
(For instance, are justice and honesty important principles to uphold? Do you find yourselves in disagreement with your boss (supervisor)? How do you follow the law of property rights and the principle of business confidentiality?
3. Please give one or two examples to explain how these principles are followed and where they may involve difficulties.
Internship Journal 3 -- And Response --Due the End of the 16th week

2. What else do you need to improve and continue to learn?
3. Do you find this internship a good learning opportunity? Will you recommend it to your school brothers and sisters? How shall they mentally prepare themselves for it if they want to go for it?
What are the max and min hours for internship combined with Professional Ethics?
1. The max should be around 20 hours (2.5 days), but it's up to employers.
2. The minimum, 50 hours. Please do check the course syllabus, which clearly lays out the schedule for class exemption.
