  Whistle shaped. 
Form its own 
cage.  Fastened 

to stone and gravity. 
Placed at the window 
its sheen 

reflects three walls 
while the whole day 
crosses its back. 

This is the thing 
I want to take home. 
Its silence held 

like a small 
explosion.
